Prince arrived at NCCR on February 1st. According to his original family, he is around 9 months old. Prince knows some basic commands, is most likely housebroken, was not allowed on furniture and slept in his crate. He likes to ride in the car, seems ok with cats and other dogs. Prince is not good with young children but is fine with older kids. He likes to play fetch and like any young dog, he has energy that needs to be burned off daily.
Prince was very nervous his first few days with us. He is hesitant when meeting new people and seems afraid when you try to leash him, but he allows you to with no problem and is happy to go out in the yards or for a walk. He warms up to you quickly, especially if you have a treat! Prince may not have had a lot of socialization in his previous home, but he is getting more comfortable and is settling in nicely.
Prince will be ready for adoption later this week (2/11 or thereafter). He will have been neutered, vaccinated (including bordetella) and microchipped. His adoption fee is $215.00. (cash or check only, we are unable to accept credit cards)
If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an adoption application.
